Do I need to maintain my pots? TOP
Yes, you should wipe them down with a polish cleaner, like Pledge as needed. Avoid contact with chemicals such as fertilizer and anything that contains acid. All pots need to be elevated at least an inch from the ground to allow for draining. A way to elevate the pot might be to put a few pieces of brick underneath the pot, that way it still looks attractive and the water is able to drain freely. Do not over water your plants, which causes excess water build up inside the pot. You should not put soil above the black tar line inside the pot. After the plant has been in the pot for a long time you should check the drain hole and make sure nothing is blocking it. Keep in mind, maintaining your pots will make them look great and last a long time.
Can these pots be used for indoor or outdoor use? TOP
Yes, the pots and vases can be used both indoor or outdoor. However, it is recommended that if you are using any of our pots or vases indoor for planting, you need to have a plastic dish or bowl on the bottom to protect the water from the drain hole and also your carpet or floor, etc.
Can I use these products for everyday use for cooking and serving? TOP
Even though people do use these products for daily use, we highly recommend to use these products for decorative purposes only.
Is your Talavera lead-free and safe for serving and using with food? TOP
Yes, all of our Talavera products are lead-free and are safe for household use. We recommend that the Talavera products are used for decorative purposes only. Do not place them in conventional oven or microwave. These products are not meant to replace typical everyday dinnerware. Handwash only.
If I see a piece of Talavera on the Internet can you get that product for me? TOP
It depends on the piece, so it is best if you can email us a picture of the piece itself. Typically we would be able to order it for you and have it within 4-6 weeks.
Do you have a printed catalog? TOP
At this time, we do not have a printed catalog for distribution, but we are working on producing one.
Do you ship over seas? TOP
No, unfortunately we only ship within the United States.
I received your shipment, but the item is broken when I received it. What do I do? TOP
We primarily use UPS ground shipping for our products and the products are insured. So if you received an item that is broken, you must keep the broken product along with the original packaging for UPS verification. Once they have completed the verification, we can replace your product or give you a refund. Without UPS verification we will not be able to replace or provide you a refund. So it is important you keep the broken product along with the original packaging for UPS verification.
Why aren't there any shipping prices on your website? TOP
Our website doesn't give any shipping rates because we sell such a wide variety of items. It is difficult to quote a shipping price until the item is weighed, measured, and packed, and we know it's destination. If you are wanting a shipping quote before ordering an item, please email us directly info@hoffmanspotteryplus.com or call us toll free at 1-888-322-0889 and don't forget to mention which item(s) you are interested in.
What is your return policy? TOP
It is our goal to make sure that every customer is 100% satisfied with their purchases from us, here at Hoffman's Pottery Plus. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied simply return the product(s) within 15 days of receipt and we will credit you the entire amount of your merchandise minus a 15% restocking fee. Keep in mind this does not apply to special orders — only to normal stock items.
The item(s) you are returning need to arrive back to us in the same condition as when it left our warehouse. Please repack appropriately to protect during shipping.
Please note: Shipping charges are not reundable and the return charges are the customer's responsibility.

What form of payment do you accept? TOP
At this time we accept any major credit cards. There are exceptions to the rule when it comes to check or money order. Paying by check or money order slows the process down, since we don't ship out the item until the check clears the bank. You must also call us directly if paying by check or money order.
